Our leather production operations are built around responsible manufacturing principles. From sustainable sourcing of hides as a byproduct of meat industry to utilizing metal and aldehyde free tanning technologies, we are advancing sustainable leather manufacturing. All products we produce adhere to stringent chemical compliance standards, including AFIRM and ZDHC frameworks, ensuring safety, quality and regulatory conformity while maintaining REACH compliance and PFAS-free integrity.
The Global recycled Standard (GRS) and Recycled Claim Standard set the criteria for third-party certification of recycled materials and chain of custody. We utilize GRS and RCS materials in our products, ensuring verified recycled content, traceability, supply chain transparency, and responsible material sourcing. From product packaging to manufacturing components, we seek sustainable alternatives, minimizing the ecological impact.
Our facilities actively invest in renewable energy infrastructure and optimization of resource utilization. The existing yearly solar generation capacity stands at 280 MWh that equates to 167% of our current utilization. Embracing the principles of clean energy, we continuously optimize resource utilization while minimizing environmental impact across operations. Learn more in our Sustainability Report.
We are committed to reducing environmental impact through systematic evaluation of product life cycle impacts and carbon emissions. By measuring, monitoring, and analyzing environmental performance, we support data-driven sustainability initiatives and continuous improvement across manufacturing operations. Our Life Cycle Assessment calculation program aims to provide complete transparency and impact of all products to our buying partners.
Our approach follows the 5R principles of Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, and Restore, with zero waste to landfill achieved by year end 2025. We implement a structured waste management program that prioritizes reuse, recycling, and resource recovery. Leather offcuts are repurposed into secondary products, while fabric offcuts are recycled into yarn through specialized partners. Paper and plastic waste are directed to recycling streams, and both hazardous and non-hazardous waste are managed by licensed contractors for energy recovery as alternative fuel in cement production, reducing landfill disposal and dependence on fossil fuels.
