Emblon’s journey began in 1966, when Mr. Muhammad Munir established a small trading company alongside a modest football manufacturing operation. These early foundations gradually evolved through decades of manufacturing experience, global partnerships, and continuous industrial development into the integrated manufacturing ecosystem Emblon represents today
1966Mohammad Munir establishes a trading business supplying goods to South Africa, laying the foundation for a family enterprise built on commercial experience, quality, and long-term relationships.
1977The business enters football production and expands into leather manufacturing with the construction of a 30,000 sq. ft. tannery, establishing in-house leather production capabilities.
1984The company begins manufacturing leather garments for the fashion and motorcycle apparel industry, developing expertise in high-quality leather finishing and introducing innovative finishing techniques.
1987The company begins developing safety gloves in collaboration with purchasing partners from France. New glove patterns and hydraulic presses are introduced, establishing a foundation in high-performance leather hand protection.
1993The production team grows to more than 100 skilled employees, supported by dedicated training and skills development. The company adds 13 tanning drums, mechanical leather-processing machinery, and 100 sewing machines, significantly expanding manufacturing capacity.
1999A new facility is constructed specifically for the gloving division, providing 50,000 sq. ft. of dedicated manufacturing space and enabling further expansion of hand protection production.
2009A dedicated Research & Development team begins developing new technologies for winter and mechanical protection gloves. The company also adds seamless knitting machines, expanding its capabilities into seamless glove manufacturing and modern hand protection technologies.
2020Emblon constructs a state-of-the-art cutting and sewing facility, bringing together 300+ employees and establishing an annual production capacity of 2.4 million pairs. This expansion strengthens the company's ability to serve growing international demand while supporting continued investment in manufacturing and product development.
2025The company establishes an in-house testing laboratory, integrating EN 388 and ANSI/ISEA 105 testing capabilities to evaluate and validate the mechanical performance of its products. This marks an important step toward greater control over product development, quality assurance, and performance validation.
2026Construction of a new Leather Working Group (LWG) tannery in the Sialkot Tannery Zone is nearing completion. Spanning approximately 70,000 sq. ft., the new facility represents the next phase of the company's investment in modern leather manufacturing, quality, and responsible production.
